Senator Sam McCann Says Medical Marijuana Bill Leaves Too Many Questions

SPRINGFIELD – State Senator Sam McCann (R-Carlinville) opposed legislation Friday legalizing the use of marijuana for some chronically or terminally ill Illinois residents.
House Bill 1 passed the Senate 35-21 Friday. It passed the House last month and now goes to the Governor for his signature.

I was saddened to learn this morning of an apparent shooting in Manchester in Scott County, with reports of a possible five fatalities.
