Senator Sam McCann asked Illinois Department of Natural Resources biologist Herb Dreier to speak to fifth-grade students at Franklin Elementary School in Jacksonville May 7.

The students in Ms. Harn’s class and Mrs. Bell’s class got a lesson on Illinois aquatic biology and also had the opportunity to handle the animals that Mr. Dreier brought with him.
